Grenada
Grenada is in a location which compared with other Caribbean islands remains unspoilt and as beautiful as ever. Grenada with its two dependents, Carriacou & Petit Martinique, has an international airport with easy access to the Americas and beyond. Its people are warm and friendly towards visitors. The climate is superb all year round and complimented by restfulness and natural beauty. Grenada is an all year round holiday destination featuring several beautiful waterfalls, many palm fringed beaches, rocky promontories, flat grassy areas, rainforests and lush sheltered valleys. It is also attractive for hiking.
The central highlands of Grenada are an important water catchment area and have great scenic and nature conservation value which is a fascinating short excursion from the coast. Grenada’s consistent favourable climate with its average annual temperatures of 80 degrees F or 27 degrees C and its numerous natural attributes makes it particularly appealing and attractive to visitors. Grenada popularly referred to as the Isle of Spice is the only major spice producing area in the Western Hemisphere.
